Don't know if its been mentioned before, but I saw a sign yesterday in the lot in front of the Edmond Sam's stating a Whataburger is being built there.

Personally, not a big fan of Whataburger, but it is what it is.

I do have to say, I have fond memories of a midnight Whataburger or two from my younger days. Just not a place on my rotation for many, many years now.

I'm a fan.. from a fast food standpoint, and late night, best burgers I can find. But this one is too far out to benefit me. But it's good for new development there.

I didn't know Edmond had a Sam's. Is this over by the Wal-Mart?

At one time, the Stillwater Whataburger was one of a handful of places you could get a delicious burger at 2 am

Memories...

Oh yeah, going to college in Stillwater in the early 90's. That's where I started eating at Whataburger regularly. It was one of, if not the only, late night place available.

Yup. But you just had to avoid any athletes/Langston student melees.

As far as fast food burgers go, Whataburger is probably in the top 3 for me. Next to Braums and Freddys.

Noticed that a new Whataburger is also being built across the street from the Sam's Club located at Memorial Rd. and Penn Ave. just south of Aldi's. I do enjoy their fried pies. :)
