I'm sad that David Oyelowo wasn't nominated.

Man, I'm REALLY pulling for Dick Poop to win it all this year

(hoping I'm not the only one who gets this reference:))

Best actor Steve Carell seriously?

Must not be a lot of competition this year.

Did you even watch the movie he is being nominated for?

Sorry but he was fantastic in Foxcatcher. Have you seen it or are you just making an assumption?

I loved Benedict Cumberbatch in Imitation Game. He'll probably lose though, as he doesn't play anyone disabled or holding a sexy gun most of the movie. Subtle acting frequently seems to go over the head of the Academy voters. Steve Carrel did an excellent job as well, but he'll lose for the same reason.

I am making an assumption based on his previous "work". Guess I will have to put this on my to see list.

I guess Rocket Raccoon would be in Best Supporting Actor category. The list didn't go down far enough.

I watched Whiplash yesterday. It was outstanding. I highly recommend. It's no wonder JK Simmons won Best Supporting Actor. This film was the lowest grossing film to have ever been nominated for Best Picture. Rent it when you can.
