Please help support OKCTalk.

I haven't made a new request for awhile, so here it is: I would greatly appreciate your financial support of this site.

Because the site is so huge (over 1 million posts and thousands and thousands of images) the hosting cost is not inexpensive. Also, I obviously spend a lot of money and time on photography and research.

I'm proud we continue to provide all content free of charge and would like to continue to do so.

Please contribute to the future of OKCTalk by becoming a Gold or Platinum member. Hit the link below or the 'Subscribe' tab atop any page.

Why can't you take a personal check mailed to your California address?

Why can't you take a personal check mailed to your California address?

If you follow the link, you'll see a mailing address where you can send a check.

Thanks!

Question/suggestion? Have you thought about setting up something with paypal to accept monthly rather than yearly payments? I know personally it would be easier to do $3-4 a month than $30 at once. And I'm OK with paying more in total for the convenience. Don't know if others might feel the same....

Pete, I was just going by the link that states you will accept Money Orders or Cashier's Checks. That is why I asked about personal checks.

Oh, thanks for pointing that out. Checks are fine of course. I'll change the page.

Let’s bump this thread. It’s become so commonplace, I don’t think many people notice anymore, but Pete and OKCTalk have dropped more news and pictures about OKC development in the last 3 hours than The Oklahoman has in 3 months. I’m not trying to create a competition, but if you subscribe to The Oklahoman for any reason, you should definitely subscribe to OKCTalk and become a member to keep getting breaking news and inside updates about what’s going on in OKC.

It’s not free to run this site and Pete puts in a ton of hard work to keep us informed, so if you can afford it, consider one of the several options to be a member.

I'm already subscribed at Platinum level. Definitely appreciate what this site provides. As many have said before, the people around me consider the well informed one entirely because I browse this board and gain from what Pete and the community provides.

That said I would like to get my platinum user flair sometime though :D

Thank you for bumping this up, some very valid points. That being said, I just signed up as gold. I always thought the levels were based on the number of comments you made. Oof!

Just browsed the subscription options and saw the anonymous check address is still for California, should that be updated or is it still a valid destination?
