Had never seen this place mentioned and it looks like very cool space, both indoor and outdoor.
Lots of live music.

It's on the north side of 10th at Villa, near the Fairgrounds.

My friend has played several gigs there.. I prefered going to it than when she would Play JJ's Alley downtown as JJ's Alley is a total smoke hole. I hadn't heard they were closing that stinks. they haven't been operated by JJ's for too many years I don't believe. They guy who Owns JJ's Alley and Saloon does a pretty good job of constantly having live music. I believe JJ's alley has live music 6 nights a week.
It's really great space with a second u-shaped level and a big outdoor area with a small stage.
Hope someone else can make use of the building.

It's been Danny's Blues Saloon, Odie's Blues Saloon and Jj's Saloon in the ten years I've been here. Not much if, if any downtime between iterations. Seems like people invest a substantial sum to acquire it and the low attendance eats up the investment in a few years. Too bad. I wish they'd have booked more nationally touring and regional acts. It was really fun to visit every once in awhile.

Was there to hear the Terry Quiett Band some time ago. Sorry to hear about the closing.
This place has reopened as the Beacon Bar:

The Beacon Bar is a very fun little bar and set up perfect for groups of people. They've changed the stage into a soccer ball pool table and have added a large sand volleyball court out back which is pretty awesome. Seems like they have some teams that play there on week nights. My roller derby team (OKCRD) has done a couple after-parties there this season and it's been a lot of fun. Karaoke on the weekends (probably until football/basketball start). Nice staff. Decent beer/liquor selection. The bar has been renovated and is now non-smoking which is a fantastic change. Rumor is they're working on a food truck too.

That's all great to hear.
It's great space.
