Wow...nice price break for kids 45 cents........maybe with the savings for my three kids, they can split an ice cream cone. Not really sure if price is too high or not...just find it funny that the price difference is .45. Why bother having different prices.

Great to see so many people down on the canal level.

Looks like it'll be a home run in terms of bringing more people in, and an increase in foot traffic ought to help everyone along the canal.

From https://twitter.com/_Bricktown; turned out really nice and truly does add life to a previously dead and sad spot:

Those were shakedown hours. For now the plan is to be open 10 AM to midnight, with seasonal adjustments. Eventually I would expect a later opening on weekdays, but they are trying 10 for now.

Played the course Monday evening. It's pretty nice. I agree that this will bring some more traffic to the canal level. We even walked it after playing and it had been a while since I'd been down on the water level.

That wall advertising space would be a great spot for some more Local art work!

What's with the white bar/blocked out letters on the brick building down the canal? What are they trying to block out from this shot?

They've begun work on the Jim Brewer Building project. It's actually white paint, just looks like it's been photo-shopped.

I played on the course Wednesday myself and friend we went early to catch dinner before the Myriad Gardens movie. I said we have plenty of time lets try out the new miniature golf in brick town. I was impressed the course was pretty challenging they have some pretty interesting holes and the course is well designed. It wasn't very busy beside me and my friend there were about 8 others on the course three elderly ladies together, another young couple in their early 30's and a family of three playing a round. They also have on the same site a mining operation for the kids. There is different types of packages of sand you buy 3 different price points I think I can't remember little plastic souvenir bags of sand that have either Minerals or Fossils to choose from the kids sift out the sand and keep in their souvenir bag the goodies. Pretty cool idea that was actually had more action then the miniature golf course. It is great to see more added family stuff added to this entertainment district. I can't wait till they open up Brickopolis the main part some time later this month.

I played there with my wife as well last night. We had fun although it didnt take very long to complete. Would be nice to have a replay fee of half off or something like that.

The building to the west provided shade on the entire time we were there which was really nice, since it was still in the 90's at the time.

My wife and I went there Saturday. Pretty fun little course. Def fills in the dead space that area used to be.
