HangryHippo 06-30-2017, 10:47 AM Basically the new HB 1279 and State Supreme Court rulings have made it more difficult for an HOA to sue the builder. The cost of insurance and potential threat of litigation slowed the construction of condos down to a crawl for several years. Here are a couple of articles if you are interested.

DenverPoke 07-20-2017, 10:58 AM 1144 15th Street (Hines project that started around the same time as BOK Park Plaza) has topped out. Looks pretty good IMO.

DenverPoke 07-24-2017, 04:35 PM I think this is misleading as I don't believe they cover every large metropolitan area (Houston, Dallas, Miami, etc. don't seem to be covered) but still impressive:

DenverPoke 09-28-2017, 11:45 AM Updated renderings have come out for the proposed new tallest at 650 17th St. Now proposed in the 90 floor and 1,000' range:

Anonymous. 09-28-2017, 01:05 PM Wow. That thing is/would be awesome!
mugofbeer 09-28-2017, 11:41 PM A prior entry had put this building at about 800 feet. Note this has apparently been upped to 1000
Urbanized 09-29-2017, 11:15 AM Good grief.

Literally the opposite of most OKC developments lol.
OKCisOK4me 09-29-2017, 11:18 PM I'd so move to Denver if I could afford it.
catch22 09-30-2017, 07:16 AM It's ridiculous here. My commute time is increasing on average about 3 minutes per month.

Amen to that and only going to get worse! Just wait until they start the I-70 construction. I'm hoping to have moved by then. :D
mugofbeer 10-04-2017, 08:23 PM Thankful to have bot 17 years ago and live near work. I still love it here though.
DenverPoke 10-05-2017, 03:34 PM Here's a pretty cool new project planned in Uptown to convert the old Denver Cathedral High School into a boutique hotel (rumor is an Ace Hotel) with an 11-story addition.

I'm mostly moving for family reasons, but I certainly won't miss the traffic. Where do you live?

tfvc.org 12-25-2017, 11:43 PM I am trying to remember an old record/cd store I used to go to in the mid 90s in the Western part of Denver, I think it was around the Denver West or Union Square area. It might have gotten gobbled up by Colorado Mills. Bought many a CD and tape there and have been nostalgic remembering buying music there. Thanks
