I think he's talking about the northwest corner of the garage, which does seem to be glass based on recent pictures.

Yes it does and would have been much more enhanced if the Rainey Williams/OG&E/Clayco project in it's original form would have been constructed.

Devon's lobby is about as cold feeling as you can get with all that grey in there. At least there's some warmth here.

Those high winds we had for 3 days may have slowed progress a bit.

It will be interesting to see how this rest of the construction unfolds.

It looks like they are finishing the core of the crown first then they might use steel to frame out the perimeter.

I've been hoping that whatever finishing touch they put on the corner is going to make the whole design come together. Based on the other corners in the picture though, it's just a smaller glass tower?

It's looking like they will finish the core of the crown then erect steel on the perimeter before installing the final glass panels.

It seems we are pretty much at the final height, at least in the middle of the building.

So the 3 story crown is designed to virtually hide the thermal units & tentacles at the top of the BOK Park Plaza Tower.

Looking at this from the 6th floor of a buddy's office at NW 50th and May, the girth of this building is dramatic compared to the rest of the skyline. I took a couple of pics, but, they were too blurry to really see well.

Not complaining but, I wish the building wasn't as wide (girth). They would have built it much taller had it been not as wide or I would think they would have.

It highly depends on your angle.

From due north or south it's quite slim.

I would love it if this building had been taller. More room for additional skyscrapers and the existing building stock that was demolished could have been saved. This building is a fail in every way possible not the least of which is the lack of height. Oh well, it's still nice to see growth in OKC.

My office is in the same building and my window looks straight downtown. Will try to get a picture if it clears up this morning but I agree. From the northwest the building looks very "girthy" and appears to stretch the skyline to the west significantly. Now there's a big gap between BOK and the Devon tower from the northwest that will hopefully get filled in at some point in the near future.

whew.. I may have to disagree. To me they just look cheap and ugly. It is quite insulting. Its offensive to me as a citizen that one of our last blocks of historic buildings was destroyed for something that not only is so off scale to pedestrians and a detriment to our walkable urban fabric but also so cheap and ugly. The tower is cool and looks great in the skyline, but the project as a whole - when you are actually down there among the behemoth garages - feels like a big f-you to the people of the city.

The inconsistency of the panels on that garage makes it obvious it was put up in pieces.

I fear the same sort of system will be used on the larger and even more visible garage at Sheridan & Walker.

Cool! It almost looks like an arrow piercing through the top of the building and coming through the bottom. Or the other way around.

The more I look at this building, the more I like it. I am impressed with how much it stretches and adds to the skyline on the western edge. I am really looking forward to it's completion and having the crown lighted at night.

This building looks better than I expected it to when I saw the preliminary images.

The crown will give the appearance of a mini version of the Devon Tower. Can't wait to see the two towers in the night lights.

How do you import images so that they're big like yours is Pete? Every time I've posted pictures on there, they end up really small.

My question is what are we going to do with this new extra space that is going to be in the market once they leave the old building. I think we're fresh out of companies to come in and take up the space like we had with Devon/Continental.
