What are some of the companies that you have used or know?

The only company that does that sort of work that I will use is Strong 3 AV.

The owner, Robert Strong is a great guy, very knowledgable and a veteran.

He does all the work at my home and my immediate 3 neighbor's homes. We've had him re-route coax cable after Cox did a horrible job routing it. Not a single cable is visible and he even ran it places Cox assured me it couldn't be run without costing a fortune and cutting into the ceiling (neither was true with Strong 3 AV).

They also installed our 16 camera security system at a very reasonable rate and installed a hanging TV or two and made certain no wires were visible (coax, HDMI, electrical, etc.).

Two neighbors of ours had security cameras installed and recessed audio throughout their whole house and around their pools. That's the next project I'm having him do after our concrete back patio is poured.

My mom had him installed a 16-camera system, mount all her TV's and connect them to AT&T cable and had the whole home audio added to her interior and exterior (even in wired in speakers outside that look like rocks = very cool).

He's always given us a 1-year guarantee on everything he's done and will come right back out and make any adjustments, etc. I believe he's out of Tuttle, but he services OKC, Edmond, Moore, Guthrie, ETC. He's even done all the security cameras and other work for places like AutoMax and Vance Motors.

BBates,
I am preparing for a move and I won't give up my AV system. The independent living "cottage" I am moving to has an attic, but the folks that maintain the facility tell me with the ductwork there is no room to maneuver. Does Mr. Strong run wire through the wall from the source, and out of the wall for the speakers? What about the surround (rear) speakers, does he run the wires under the base board then up through the walls to them as well. Also, I'm a big boy and can call him, but do you know if he goes to the Mid/Del area?
Thanks,
C. T.

He ran ours using metal tape and a large magnet. He occasionally has to drill a small hole and then feed the wire through.

He serviced our old home in the Mid-Del area in the past.

BBatesokc,
That's what I wanted to hear. I hope he will still come over there and I will call him.
Thanks so much,
C. T.

A friend of mine who moved from Austin back to OKC this summer worked for a company for a long time doing custom installs in Austin. He started at Harry's TV on North Penn recently and is trying to build that side of their business up.

Bluedogok,
I'm a big fan of Harry's TV, so I would like to know your friends phone number. if I can just call Harry's that's fine. I stopped in there last week. I'm still interested in the gentleman that BBatesokc recommended. If things don't work out, I would certainly call your friend.
