Saw the sign and found the link below. Apparently they will be putting in a Hudson's Public House...hopefully not the old traditional smoky Henry Hudson's!

Anyone else have information?

I hate to disappoint but Danforth and Western is in Okc. The city limits are a half mile to the north and a half mile to the east.

Not sure of what you are meaning by your post. A lot of people don't realize that postal zones, school districts don't match city limits.

Are you calling him a jackass? That's weird if so. Oklip955 is right, it isn't Edmond and therfore really no reason to post it in to Edmond thread.

By the way, I'm a woman. The oklip refers to the fact that when I chose that for the internet, I had lipizzan horses and lived in Oklahoma.

I just automatically refer to people as "him" if I don't know their gender unless it's a name that is obviously feminine. Need to get out of that habit though.

I suppose technically it's not edmond. Not worth arguing with you guys/women about. Just trying to find out more about this place that's a few hundred yards from my house in EDMOND. Forget about it. You obviously are too busy being "edmond specific". geez.

I live right down the road from there. It is Okc, but Edmond zip code. To many of the residents in the area, it's considered Edmond.

I'll be glad when the intersection is finally done. I drive through that intersection after church if I'm going into Edmond/Okc. Its been torn up for a while.

That's all fine and what not, but according to the building permits, it would be in OKC. So I don't know. Probably another crappy strip mall or a fast food joint.

BTW, calling someone a jackass just because they noted that this was technically in OKC as to direct to correct online permit system is not polite.

Which corner is this? SW is Sonic - maybe NE?

Also, im not really into the name calling, but I don't always feel that including areas that surround edmond is a bad thing here. The main buildings and development forums for OKC is massive and "Far North" developments that would most interest folks in Edmond are not the easiest to spot in there. Wish there could be some automatic cross posting.

As a young child, I spent a lot of time at the house at that intersection, that is now some kind of a school. (Keystone) It was my great Uncles home, and there were some good times had in that little pond. Pretty sure John Wayne use to frequent the house as a guest as well, back in the late 60's, early 70's. At the time, it seemed like it was out in the middle of nowhere. I'm curious to see how everything develops around it, without too much intrusion.

Filthy, I visited that house when I was in Jr high or high school. A group of us were there to help prep for a fundraiser. It had the first microwave I had ever seen. Someone gave us a can of Goldwater, like Coca Cola in a can.
