Amazing

NEW YORK (CNNMoney) — A $250 million lawsuit has been filed against Walt Disney, claiming that its mega-hit “Frozen” stole directly from someone’s real life story.

Isabella Tanikumi — who also goes by L. Amy Gonzalez — has filed a lawsuit claiming that Disney’s animated film about Princess Anna, her magical sister Elsa, and their talking snowman Olaf took elements from her 2010 autobiography “Living My Truth.”

Court documents obtained by E! News includes a list of 18 “Frozen” elements that Tanikumi’s claims were plagiarized directly from her book.

These include both stories having two sisters, a village, betrayal, open doors/gates, and a “moon setting.”

Doesn't just about every fairy tale in the universe have that stuff?

If Frozen really is based on her life, I know a whole bunch of little girls who are going to want to be adopted by her! :)

Will she be suing Mother Goose and the Brother's Grimm?

For all of you mocking this woman, I believe she stands a very good chance at winning her lawsuit. According to my research, no other person has ever had two sisters. Additionally, nobody else has ever experienced betrayal. And, perhaps most damning of all, no other person has ever encountered an open door or gate. Don't even get me started on the moon; it's an issue of complete lunacy.

Can't help but feel that somewhere in the first order entered in the case, someone is going to suggest she simply let it go.

If Franklin & Bash are her lawyers, I'd say she has a chance of winning.
