Plans are in the works to convert an old electric sub-station into offices and a yoga studio.
There will be a small addition but the original building will be left as-is. Note the cool old wire insulators that are still embedded in the building's walls.

Super cool! I just rode by there Monday and was daydreaming of a use for this building. Yoga studio is a great idea and I'm sure they'll do a good business.

Before Dove Science Academy was Dove Science Academy, it was a super sketchy building with a bar on the second floor and a huge room on the third floor with nothing on the walls. We had our pledge party on the second floor and I remember someone stumbling out the building and trying to climb up this building. Someone had to tackle them so they wouldn't electrocute themselves. Fun times...
It was purchased by the current owner from OG&E in 1986, so I'm sure it has been deactivated for a while.
For some reason, I love these old electric buildings; sure wish the old Belle Isle power station was still around. It was so incredibly cool.

You mean, like this? I'd much rather have a region shopping strip with such fine offerings like lane Bryant and shoe carnival.

Looks like Inner Harbor, Baltimore? ^
This little project turned out super sharp. Great job by everyone involved.

I go here for yoga! Really cool how they renovated inside. It's a neat building with a charm to it's own.
Here is a picture of the inside from the Cardinal Yoga FB page:
