I think this has come up before, but I couldn't locate it.

Its always frustrating to learn about a fun event only AFTER its occurred. I find social media to be the best platform for getting the information before the event happens - problem is - if you don't know what social media account to follow then you're often out of the loop.....

While I technically 'follow' lots of people on Twitter, in reality I prefer to only read my pre-selected lists that are divided by local news, national news, international news, tech stuff, activism stuff, etc.

That said, what Twitter accounts do you follow or otherwise find useful for keeping up with what's going on LOCALLY (OKC, Edmond, Moore, Norman, etc.)?

I haven't updated or sought out new feeds to follow in awhile, but here's my list for local events and happenings only;
