I saw a suggested FB page today for a new Apartment complex coming to Norman by October of next year. Called Aspen Heights and looks identical to the Cottages in terms of the house-style apartments. Any ideas where it's going? Is this the mystery complex coming to the same property as the Wal-Mart Neighborhood Market?

There is an Aspen Heights in Stillwater. Seems like they have them in a lot of college towns. I would have thought Norman would have already had it.

Big apartment complexes can be good for nearby businesses. I heard business went up 10 times at a convenience store near Aspen Heights when it opened in Stillwater. With close to 1000 residents, it will be good for providing further congestion on N. Perkins Rd. Another apartment complex was going to be built across the street from it, but it would be next to single family houses and the residents there nixed it.

Yup the address and comments confirm that is the complex going in with the Walmart NM and also the rumored DQ.

Yea FB suggested I like the page and I posted on their FB page asking where it was going and they refused to tell me, just tried to sell me a lease and call for more info. A friend then found that on the Norman page. The two fast food joints definitely make me think a DQ is gonna go in one of them. Someone on Reddit suggested maybe a Starbucks too. Not sure how crazy I am about that idea...
