Does anyone besides me find the promotional material for the State Fair kinda, well, odd?? Comic book theme, oddly presented, just...bizarre.

I don't find it bizarre. I think it's finally advertising the fair for what it is. I'm glad they finally changed the ads.

I believe they changed design firms. Funnel did a great job for them in the past and can only guess they changed to save money.

I just went and looked and it seems easier to navigate for me. But at my age I am easily amused.

The website. Is there promotional material being handed out anywhere? I don't get the paper anymore.

Pretty sure the website is the same as last year. I think SoonerDave was referring to the commercial's and flyer's.

Oh. My bad then. I have not seen either.

I did finally see the commercial and noticed is was in the Graphic Comic style. Considering how many flics are being made from Graphic Comics in the last couple of years they may just be trying to catch the wave.

My wife thought it was creepy. If they had changed the faces to be a little less weird, it would have made a big difference for me.

They looked like Marvel Comics characters from the 60's.
