Wasn't sure where to put this topic, but if you happened to be outside yesterday you maybe caught a glimpse of several military combat aircraft returning home from a Red Flag exercise at Nellis AFB in Nevada. During my round of golf we saw a foursome of F-16's heading ENE and then later we saw a trio of F-22's(!) headed ESE (pretty sure most of them are based in Florida). That was my only guess as to why we saw them and sure enough after a Google search there was indeed a Red Flag exercise that ended Friday.

I would have liked to have seen those Raptor's in formation.

I saw some of those taking off from Tinker. I thought it odd to see fighters there...not unheard of, but not common.
