I've heard Mooyah Burgers has a franchisee in OKC and they are close to announcing a couple of locations.

Mooyah is already in Tulsa (71st & Lewis), Texas, Arkansas and Kansas. They started in Plano, TX and have about 50 locations.

It's a quick-service (order at the counter) setup similar to Five Guys and Smashburger. One point of differentiation: They offer tons of toppings and combinations.

More business in OKC is always a good thing.. but dang our Burger market is pretty saturated.
I have never actually ate Smashburger because there are enough local options that its just not nec for me.

I agree and I don't frequent the national chains myself. Will probably try it once and then it's back to the locals.

There is a place in Moore called Heroes Burgers & More that is turning out a pretty good hand made patty burger now. Granted it's not a Nic's burger but it's still a tasty local option that I frequent occasionally.... They do have some odd hours though.

I tried Smashburger once and did not like it. The burger had an off flavor to me.

My best burger votes:

Restaurant: Republic
Quick Service: Tucker's
Fast Food: ?? Since there is no In-n-Out in OKC, I guess Carl's Jr. or Braums.

Ate at the one in Tulsa. Very good service in my experience.

The food was good. I mean, it was a burger. You can only make a burger so good. Seems like a good enough chain, though.

I don't know about the quality but Five Guys offers a similar number of toppings and combinations.
