I stopped in at Sandros and while waiting for my food, asked why the parking lot (in front of and to the north of Cherry Berry) had orange fencing around it. The owner said that Sam's wouldn't have enough room for a gas station by the new building so they were putting it in there. Can anyone confirm this? While it would be great to have a good gas station in the area, I'm not so sure the traffic would be all that great!

Yes, I can confirm that the owner is correct.
I'm also fairly certain that you will need to be a Sam's Club member to use that gas station too.

19th St might be the biggest mess of disjointed development in all of Oklahoma. What a nightmare.

Many will disagree, which is why there's so much more planned to go in and around 19th. They aren't going to stop anytime soon I'm thinking.
I just hope they get on a crossover at 34th so I can continue avoiding the intersection to get to the west side without having to drive down to Indian Hills.

Well if you think it's bad now... It's about to get a lot worse for a few months.
They will be widening 19th street from about the railroad overpass to the I-35 bridge and a few hundred feet north on Broadway.
Going to be a major headache while lanes are closed for that.

I don't think it's bad, although it certainly can be. I've traveled through it enough to know how to predict when it'll be busier most times and like mentioned, avoid it if necessary. The construction will suck surely, I'm just going to have to get used to it taking extra time when we need to get to anything around where it'll be going on.
Do you know if they are pushing forward with the proposed roundabout at Broadway and eastern?

I do not have any information on that project but I do hope it becomes a reality.

I do too, it's such an awkward intersection but I drive that way as it's my most direct path when going 35 north, or to the area.

I'm not just talking about the cluster in terms of traffic congestion, I am talking about disjointed development in terms of location, look, and style. There is simply no cohesion.

Thanks! We live in the housing addition right behind there and traffic is already crazy. You can't get out onto 19th from Crystal Drive, it's easier to cut through the Cherry Berry parking lot and take the light at Broadway. I'm sure this is going to make things SO much easier. <--- sarcasm
