Is the only OKC location at 74th & S. Western?

I know at one time they were at Reno & Meridian, 39th & Portland, and in Norman. Famously, one of the owners was found guilty of using illegal immigrants at some of the locations and paying them a very low wage. That happened in 2000 and I believe most the other locations gradually closed.

Now, they are getting ready to launch two huge new restaurants with a massive buffet area and a big bar.

Just trying to collect some info before I share the details.

I don't know of any open locations in OKC currently.. the one on 39th and Portland has sat vacant since they left, The reno location has changed a few times an is currently a Italian place called portafinos I believe and the normal location is a Yomata.

I had completely forgotten they had the one on S western and I240. I guess it may be the only remaining one.. I want to say that might have been the first one actually

74th and Western in the OP is the 240 one.

So, it appears they had 5 locations in the early 00's and now just have the one.

It is clearly huge; can anyone comment on food quality?

It's been about 6 years since I was there but last time I was there they had expanded their buffet to include a lot of Mexican options. They even had cabrito.

I mostly stuck with the Mongolian BBQ and it was always good but it was cooked with fresh meat and veggies in front of me so I could see how it was prepared.

I have never ate at that location. me and co-workers use to go to the one on 39th and portland pretty regularly and the food quality was always good. however like you said that was back in the 00's..

Isn't that where Allen's Route 66 Pizza is now?

74th and Western in the OP is the 240 one.

Somehow my eyes skipped over that and I was thinking the op said there were no locations left open at this time. We ate there about 4 months ago for something different. I know now where all the people from the State Fair eat when not at the fair. (for the record....I love the fair though). Food was good for buffet food and lots of choices but it is just too small of a location for the amount of people and furniture they stuff in there. Look at the picture and see how close the steam tables are and they took out tables for the pictures as there are tables all the way up to the tile

The one in Bricktown (in what is now the Banjo Museum) was a middle-of-the-road (though large) buffet from a quality standpoint, but did have Mongolian BBQ and (odd, but also the best part) a Churrascaria. I was on Atkins at the time with three other people in my office, and we probably single-handedly bankrupted the place.

BLUF: Great variety. Good food. Nothing spectacular.
I think the food quality is good. It's probably horribly Americanized food, but what I like about it is that I can take my whole family and everybody has something there they like. There's the
standard oriental fare, but they also have sushi (nothing daring or remarkable), mexican (but it doesn't feel all that authentic, either), and steak and stuff like would compete with Golden Corral. I always go for the Mongolian BBQ and follow it up with Gelato.
