EDMOND — The Edmond Planning Commission this week approved the commercial site plan for Davis Pump to be located on the east side of Fretz Drive and north of 33rd Street. The vote was 5-0.

“They have a pretty spacious lot for this building on 5 acres of land, 31,578-square-foot building,” said Bob Schiermeyer, city planner. “They have parking for offices and warehouse and offices.”

Parking provides for 92 spaces, 47 office, 45 warehouse and 6 bicycle spaces on the 271,731-square-foot lot, he said. Bicycle parking is added.

The rust color building wall panels tilt up. Several overhead doors for truck docks on the sides of the building, Schiermeyer said.

No further action on this item is necessary by the Edmond City Council, said Barry Moore, commission chairman. - See more at: Commercial site plan approved for Davis Pump » Local News » The Edmond Sun (http://www.edmondsun.com/local/x1760108509/Commercial-site-plan-approved-for-Davis-Pump#sthash.8yKP5RC5.dpuf)

You know... I was bored and checked out a map to see where this exactly would go, and I don't think Fretz runs to 33rd. Can someone confirm that? Maybe I'm looking in the wrong area, or perhaps it's an error on the Edmond Sun's part.

Fretz can be accessed from 33rd by going north on Technology Drive, then right on Centenial, which then curves back north and takes you to Fretz,.. About 1/2 way to 15th.

If doesn't run all the way to 33rd. I think I comes close though. I wonder where exactly this will be, because anywhere south of 15th, and you won't be able to see it from any major street.

Looks like 1/2 way between 33rd and 15th.

It says "approximately ˝ mile north of 33rd Street".
