Right next to Providence Place Apartments at SW 12th and MaCarthur, construction is starting on phase 2 of the apartment complex. It's hard to tell how many buildings are going to be built, but they're already pouring some concrete and have plumbing in the floor slab in place. Across the street there's a self storage facility being built. I was curious as to whether anyone knew of any other projects being planned for the area around SW 12th to SW 15th and MacArthur, and SW 15th between Meridian and MacArthur. There are hundreds of acres of land in this general area that seem primed for development and I definitely see it filling in with both commercial and residential properties in the coming years.
