If this place was open for dinner and maybe on Saturdays , could this place be big time for the Bricktown area? They already do a tremendous lunch business m-f. Are there enough people to support it during the evening? IMO they have one of the better burgers around, but sometimes I want a burger for dinner and not just lunch.. What's your thoughts?

When I was gigging quite a bit in Bricktown there was a burger place
that was just west of Mickey Mantle's. I believe they owned it and it
was fantastic. Stumpy's? I don't remember. There was a hot dog
vendor on Sheridan, his name was Marcos, who had some good dogs.

Yes, Stumpy's. R.I.P. They made burgers from the trimmings of MM's steaks. Unfortunately since it was a lunch place and MM is dinner only it required a manager to come in early every day. As it was but a blip on the financials they were universally unenthusiastic, so when the NBA brought big nights to the MM bar, they embraced a plan to remodel the space as an expansion of the MM bar. The bar is great, but I sure miss Stumpy's.

I get Bricktown Burgers not being open nights. But Saturday lunch would sure rock.
