I just wanted to let everyone know that Cactus Jack's Arcade has expanded the game line-up to include a large selection of well maintained pinball machines. We now have about 45 pinball machines available for play and have seen steady growth in pinball play in Oklahoma. We are going to offer regular pinball tournaments and league play. Many tournaments and at least one league will be for IFPA (International Flipper Pinball Assoc) ranking points. Cactus Jack's is partnered with Pizza Inn for fast delivery to the arcade so that guests can enjoy a cold beer and fresh pizza during their visit.

On a side note, we'd like to partner with a nice bar-type establishment in or around the Edmond area to install and maintain 8-12 pinball machines to help extend pinball play in the OKC area. If you know of such a place, please drop me a line.

I know quite a few people who'd be excited know about this pinball treasure trove! I've heard that the folks behind Flashback Retropub won't have many pinball machines, if any. It'd be great if these two places joined forces to bring pinball to uptown OKC :)

Seriously if not Flashback at least partner with someone near downtown OKC before heading to Edmond. Pleae! I don't think I'd drive to 10th and Council to see my own mother.

I haven't been to Cactus Jack's in a few years. I might need to go back soon then. I hope they still have Virtual On.

I've dropped in there occasionally over the last year or two at lunch. It's like a trip back in time to my misspent youth. If I had a quarter for every quarter I spent in there... :)

Just an update to an otherwise old thread: Cactus Jacks now has more than 50 pinball machines, has crowned 2x IFPA sanctioned State Champions (2013 and 2014) through tournaments and leagues, and has now attracted the attention of PAPA (the major competitive pinball circuit) with a major 3-day tournament (cactusjackssilverballshowdown.com) scheduled in April.

Have been in a few times to spend a bucket of quarters on pinball. Really enjoy all the games. I am no Pinball wizard but I do enjoy playing them.

Made it out there today. Very nice selection of Pin Balls. Unfortunately it is pretty far off the beaten path for me so I am not sure how often I'll make it out there.

My first time was last night. I have never seen such a selection of functioning pinball machines. Never. And they all seem to be in good working order. I dropped a ton of cash last night, but I have no regrets.

Marquez has transformed part of the Cactus Jack’s Arcade at N.W. 10th and Council into a gamer’s paradise.

Forty gaming stations will allow individuals and teams to go head to head in the most digitally advanced games in the world.

I am resurrecting this old thread simply to ask if anyone knows a person or business in Oklahoma City that repairs and refurbishes pinball machines. I have a classis 1970's Bally machine that works but needs new bumpers, a good cleaning, and a few minor repairs.

I know what you’re talking about but it wasn’t Cactus Jack’s. That place is unbelievably still open, in west OKC. I’m trying to recall the name of the place you’re mentioning…Monterrey Jack’s, maybe?

Cactus Jack's never ceases to amaze me. It has reinvented itself a few times. I remember as a kid in the 80s riding my bike up there with my buddies to play videos games I felt like it was in the middle of nowhere. Just for old times sake a friend and I went a couple of months ago and the video games were Everywhere and TONS of pinball! Like really super cool pinball. We had a blast! I just dont know how it continues on at that location. Long live Cactus!

Out of sheer nosiness and nostalgia I stopped in earlier this year when I happened to be in that neck of the woods, which doesn't happen often for me these days. Hadn't been inside in probably 30 years. I was mildly shocked at the pinball selection. It is indeed great, and miraculously I only saw one or two that weren't operational.
