I think a lot of these intros did more than just start the shows - they defined the cities and occupation through their repeated viewing. They show itself was about the characters, but the intros were about the places and occupations - if that makes sense.

Season 1's Intro, now currently under re-review (c/o Netflix) was better but currently unavailable.

Weeds which was on showtime was great.
