View Full Version : Spotter Training venture 03-10-2014, 11:06 AM The last NWS Norman online spotter training course was done in the mid afternoon, they've scheduled another one for tomorrow evening. It'll start at 630PM and run until about 9PM at the latest. Unfortunately, the webinar on the 25th was plagued by internet problems at the NWS office and almost all of the first half was missing audio or video or both. Although, this webinar is described as "advanced", it will cover all of the important elements of storm spotting, albeit in somewhat greater detail than the "basic" course. The National Weather Service Forecast Office in Lubbock, TX is conducting a basic spotter webinar tonight at 6:30.
