I know there had been a little bit of discussion previously about SW89th street specifically in Mustang. I read in the paper plan is to do a overlay between Mustang and Sara road and then a chip seal overlay between Sara and Morgan road. Not a big fan, but this is typical of the city cheaping out.

FWIW, On Monday I saw some of the road equipment they were using on SW 59th between Mustang Rd and Sara sitting on the side of the road between Czech Hall Rd and Hwy 92. That stretch is in dire need of resurfacing.

So is Morgan road from sw 29th to sw 59th. It's really dangerous. I've heard talks that they are going to 4 lane this stretch but they need to do something fast before someone gets hurt.

Both of these parts of the road mentioned are OKC responsibility. Morgan road has been crap for 10+ years unfortunately. SW 59th between Mustang and Sara is about done now.
