If this is indeed the home kit, I freaking love the collar, and I smell a soccer jersey I'd wear to work on Fridays :)

My only beef is the damned shield...make the centennial shield our permanent shield!

I can't wear shirts like this. I look like a bigfoot with a bald head. TMI but body hair sticks out of stuff like that. Nice looking shirt though.

I'm still a huge fan of the striped kits.

This is probably my favorite of all time

The striped with navy numbers were way better than silver though.

what silver kits did we have? you mean the gun metal ones we had leading up to South Africa?

Nah, our striped kits had silver numbers originally. I much preferred them with navy numbers.

oh yeah, that's right, i forgot because that was only like one outing in them. was not a fan. i don't mind the hoops either, gives a look similar to the flag, but I really love collars on soccer shirts, so that's why i love this new one. did you see the alleged away kit for Brazil?

I'm not sure how I feel about that one. I do really like that home kit though.

yeah i'm not sure about that away kit either, really depends on the shorts they pair it with, I figure it'd be red, which might look okay.

I wish they weren't so expensive. I really like the one with the American Outlaw patch..

I agree, love the stripes. I like the navy shorts better than the white ones. But still, both good looks. Distinctive.

The photo on the left is probably my all-time favorite. It was just a great, great uniform.

Oh man the new World Cup kit has got to be one of the worst we've worn since...the denim one from WC '94. It looks like a golf shirt.

I'm really surprised at the backlash. Does it look like England's? Sure.

I've always thought collars on a soccer shirt are awesome. Though, as one friend reminded me when I suggested we get collared tops for our outdoor team "you've gotta be able to ball to sport the collared jersey."

The new kits didn't look too great today. Neither did the team. 0-2 loss to Ukraine.

I like how USA Today describes the 2014 Away kit.

I do not like either kit.

The U.S. national team?s second 2014 World Cup jersey looks like a popsicle | For The Win (http://ftw.usatoday.com/2014/04/us-national-team-world-cup-jersey-red-bomb-pop/)

I'm fine with both. Would I have designed either myself? Doubt it. But I don't think they're misrepresenting the U.S. or anything with their kits.

I personally like the simplicity of England's WC kit; home and away. Germany's away kit is also pretty slick, imo.

EDIT: I just read the article and got a kick out of the lines "During the away matches, the U.S. will be wearing the Dutch flag upside down" and "the uniform is a handful of shiny stars away from being a Katy Perry outfit."

Yeah, these are just bad.

the jersey itself is fine, but paired with the shorts and socks...holy hell that's a lot of red

I prefer the chevron design that was leaked previously

Wow. This WC the USA kits may be as bad as they were in '94.

Speaking of the Men's National team, is anybody going to be going to Skinny Slims tonight for the game? I know it's late on a Wednesday but I'll probably be there if the weather doesn't get to bad.

Doubt I will go anywhere to watch it, but I most certainly will be watching.

I'm planning on heading up to Skinny Slims Edmond. Tonight is their opening.
I love SS Bricktown, but 5 minute drive vs. 25 minute drive on a weeknight.
