Who are your five all time favorite musical groups (any type, even mix them a bit if you want)?

How Much I Feel by Ambrosia. That was a good listen. I just had to get it from iTunes. Thanks, Todd. Where can I send the bill? LOL

I kind of have an eclectic taste when it comes to music. Good music is good music no matter what genre.

I know this is a little of topic but I have been testing out a site juke box feature where users can upload music and store it in their own "juke Box". Do you think a feature like this would be used?

I'm all for it as long as the RIAA doesn't come a knocking on my door.

CCR
The Ventures
The Beach Boys

These are just a couple of my favorite groups

(By the way. The spell check works. I misspelled some words to test it)

I'm a little prejudiced here, but my husband's band "Arrowhead" is my favorite. But .38 Special, Skynard, Whitesnake, and Def Leppard are right up there too!

One of the best things about music is that it rekindles memories tucked away deep in my grey matter. That's why I like every genre. Well, showtunes aren't really to my liking. I just don't get the concept of the musical. Opera yes, but groups of people busting out in song and dance boggles my mind.

More of a singer/songwriter fan myself. Group music is cool too...but I love the "one" voice, simply accompanied, singing the song he/she wrote.

Carly Simon and James Taylor being two classic choices.

I'm currently enraputred by Jack Johnson. His third album "In Between Dreams" is enjoying quite a bit of commerical success. But I've found his two previous albums "on and on" and "Brushfire Fairytales" to be far superior in their simplicity of sound.

It's just really really good music.

Check him out.

New Order "Substance" holds a special place in my heart. Years ago, I gave dad some cash I had earned, with instructions to purchase a CD player and a CD. He returned with a Panasonic 6-disk cartridge player and New Order Substance. I still give him props for that CD, my first.

Smashing Pumpkins: Gish rocks.

Depeche Mode: WORLD IN MY EYES takes the cake in my book.

Love Point of Grace, Keith.

Back in 1995, the last summer I staffed at Falls Creek, Point of Grace came in once a week to do a concert for the morning service. I was one of the staff members who got to introduce them each week, and we got to spend Wednesday mornings with them. They are an incredible group of ladies.

Was at my parents house a few weeks ago, and in the piano bench came across the book of their songs that they gave each of us and autographed for us.

Now I'm gonna have to track them down on CD. Never had anything of theirs except on tape.
