I've played this a few times and it's very good.

The next performance is at Douglas High School (MLK and N.E. 10th).
The time is 7:00pm. BLAC is financing this event and there is no cost.

Yes, I'm on the gig. As is the great guitarist Jake Miller will be performing
with the band. He studied with Barney Kessel who studied with Charlie
Christian.

Be there!

Time Stamp on your post is 7:08 pm, which could mean that it was 6:08 pm.
That isn't the issue. The question is: What day on the calendar?
If you meant TODAY . . . (like, Friday, now) . . . I'm sure it was an inspiring performance.
(10:35 pm CST, Friday)

I don't know. I'm on call to show up and play the gig. I just found a site that
says we're to be in Tulsa on 2/1. I don't believe it's accurate. I know we're
to play in Boley, Vernon, Clearview, Tulsa and Taft in the very near future.

Here is an article predating the Lawton performance.

Anita Arnold, BLAC (http://www.blacinc.org/), is a princess. I've played many, many gigs for her over
the decades and since the inception of BLAC.

Truthfully, I don't expect anyone from OKC Talk to attend. I really
don't. Saying you're not racist and that you support the Black Arts and
showing you aren't are two totally different items. Talk is always the
easiest route to take.

As an aside, I've played the Trojan fight song more times than my alma
maters'. Who'd a thunk it.
