On the one hand, US Senior District Judge Terence Kern struck down the state's ban on gay marriage.
On the other, he stayed the effect of that strike pending action in higher courts (which will likely resolve the issue via a Utah case that is further along the appellate process.)

I like that they banned the ban but you know they will keep on trying. With all the misery of teen pregnancies and abused children in this state maybe they should not worry so much about 2 people that love each other that want to get married.
