If you could toast someone for the new year who would it be?
Me: I'd toast Kevin Durant for being such a classy guy.
And you?

Mississippi Blues 12-30-2013, 09:38 PM I'd toast my great-grandpa for all that he taught me & how much he inspired me to be the best I can be & never settle for less than I deserve. He passed from this life on June 12th of this year, but his legacy will live on through me. Love you, papa. RadicalModerate 12-31-2013, 09:42 AM I'd have to say Pete B . . . For the endless hours of entertainment and enlightenment that This Little Haven in Cyberspace provides. (But that might sound too much like "sucking up" so I probably shouldn't say it.) boscorama 12-31-2013, 09:31 PM People on the Council, for their efforts, despite the political sideshow which sucks the air out of the room. RadicalModerate 12-31-2013, 11:13 PM To boscorama . . . (a tiny taste of Don Julio Anejo, t' take the bitterness of whatever and so forth, oot o' me mouth). Well spoken (metaphorically, actually typed), Sir or Madam . . . Slante. Y prospero Nuevo ano. t' you and y'alls. =) de veras, no joke. boscorama 12-31-2013, 11:17 PM Hny2u rm. ljbab728 01-01-2014, 12:29 AM I'm toasting myself for still being here for another year. My heart doctor is always surprised, anyway. Antler dad 01-01-2014, 12:43 AM I toast our weather people for their constant and correct information in May (primarily) as well as the rest of the year! As a husband and father of 2, you are all priceless and I cannot begin to tell you how much I appreciate each and every one of you!!! Thank you. Prunepicker 01-01-2014, 02:31 AM I'll toast Ronald Reagan. He was the greatest president of the 20th Century and since. Next I'll toast Calvin Coolidge. ljbab728 01-01-2014, 02:38 AM I'll toast Ronald Reagan. He was the greatest president of the 20th Century and since. Next I'll toast Calvin Coolidge. Yes, I would put both of them in my toaster also. :) Stew 01-01-2014, 08:48 AM I toasted raisin bread this morning. I gotta give it up to Pete. 2013 was a magnificent year for the OKCTALK website. #impressedwithokctalk kevinpate 01-01-2014, 09:56 AM I'd have to say Pete B . . . For the endless hours of entertainment and enlightenment that This Little Haven in Cyberspace provides. (But that might sound too much like "sucking up" so I probably shouldn't say it.) Then I will. THANKS PETE, FOR ALL OKCTALK HAS, AND WILL, BECOME! Dubya61 01-07-2014, 05:07 PM Certainly agree that I'd toast Pete for his work. I'm equally certain I WOULD NOT toast any of these twits / twitter posters for blatantly revealing they have NO idea what the new year was the anniversary of. If you ever feel dumb, at least you're not these people... - The Meta Picture (http://themetapicture.com/if-you-ever-feel-dumb-at-least-youre-not-these-people/) OKCisOK4me 01-07-2014, 05:20 PM I'd make my toast to the service men and women that are overseas fighting 24/7 for whatever purpose our Commander in Chief has them anywhere they are in the first place--which is to defend what freedoms we have left here. No toast can convey the loss of life due to war but my toast would be to those that gave their lives for our country. |
