metro 08-31-2012, 03:09 PM I'd like to see Good Egg move their catering there and have an events space and then re-open Market C! Tuck are you listening!
Metro, you're the only one that shopped at Market-C :). No event space planned; we will use the space for our AGEDG offices as well as Cheever's Catering and Events office and kitchen. Clean up process will begin next week.
metro 09-01-2012, 07:56 PM so does that mean you're moving out of your 5th street offices?
Yes, moving from 5th Street but already working on plans for the building.

$150K building permit to remodel the A Good Egg Group offices at 2500 N. Walker.
Tuck, any renderings you can share?
Nothing of significance yet, but will post some as soon as I get them.
edcrunk 12-08-2012, 10:13 PM Tuck, did you buy the Paseo Underground building? If so, what are your plans with it?
Tuck, did you buy the Paseo Underground building? If so, what are your plans with it?
No, that's part of the Land Run deal that includes the used restaurant furniture store at 23rd and Walker.

Here are some images from that A Good Egg Group application.
Looks like they'll be adding lots of new windows to the south and west sides and restoring the old brick facade.

Plutonic Panda 01-21-2013, 10:10 AM Are there any plans to beautify the street?
catch22 01-21-2013, 10:13 AM I'm sure they will do landscaping. Also I have read something about a new 23rd streetscape project but I don't know the details of that or if it' still in the works.
catch22 01-21-2013, 10:18 AM Sometimes I just want to kiss that Good Egg. What an amazing company.
I think somewhere we need to erect a large egg statue and name a park after them.
Kidding aside, it is great to see them chugging along. That means they are being successful with their assets and plan on using those profits for aggressive expansion here. Hurray!
the Chicago Bean....the Oklahoma City Good Egg.......I think you're on to something here.... a large shiny, reflective egg.
Praedura 01-21-2013, 11:45 AM This project (A Good Egg Group office) looks very good. Perhaps this should have its own thread, rather than just being buried in a general 23rd street thread.
Incidentally, whatever happened to Tull?
Praedura 04-13-2013, 12:23 PM Molly Fleming article:
http://www.naisullivangroup.com/OKNews/Rollingintonewdigs-GoodEggtomovecorporateofficecateringcompany.pdf
A Good Egg Dining Group is spending about $250,000 to renovate the 12,000-square-foot building
at 2500 N. Walker Ave. for its corporate headquarters. The building was previously occupied for
several years by an overhead door business.
But the corporate office won’t be the only occupant of the space.
Cheever’s Catering will also be in the building, which will contain a commercial kitchen.
The new space will more than double the combined total of where both entities are currently
located...

“We’re really happy,” Keith said. “We’ve had our best year ever. We’ve been operating
Cheever’s Catering for 13 years and 2012 was our best year.”
...the additional space at the building will fit about 18 to 20 offices, thus allowing for extra growth
as the brands continue to expand.
And A Good Egg's new HQ is looking good:

I'm not a huge fan of this. Why all black?
Roger S 06-18-2013, 04:23 PM I'm not a huge fan of this. Why all black?
So when we hit those first 100 degree days of summer they can go outside and cook A Good Egg on it.... Ba Dum Dum!
Don't worry. I'm not quitting my day job to go into comedy.... Yet.
GaryOKC6 06-18-2013, 04:47 PM I drive by there often and I think it looks great. Definitely a big improvement over what was there before.
TechArch 06-18-2013, 05:21 PM Rand Elliott design? He loves all black. See Chesapeake campus.

Not a Rand design. The color is actually gray, not black.
Mr. Cotter 06-19-2013, 08:58 AM It looks good in person. That photo is less flattering.
Just dropped in and Keith Paul gave me a tour of the great new headquarters of A Good Egg Group on Walker & 24th.
Beautiful space that also integrates a very large catering facility on the north end, complete with a separate entrance and slick tasting room for those customers.
The rest of the space is open, modern/industrial with similar great design touches of their restaurants.
Just found this old photo of when this building was a Kerr's Dept. Store back in 50's:
