when do they start playing it 24/7?
View Full Version : 104.1 and Christmas music OKCretro 11-21-2013, 09:26 AM when do they start playing it 24/7? bchris02 11-21-2013, 09:45 AM Don't they usually start the day after Thanksgiving? In markets where there will be only one station doing Christmas music, there's no reason to race to be the first to do it. OKCisOK4me 11-21-2013, 11:39 AM Pretty sure last year they started up before TG so probably next Monday. If not by then, it will be Friday. MWCGuy 11-22-2013, 05:45 AM Pretty sure last year they started up before TG so probably next Monday. If not by then, it will be Friday. They have been waiting until Friday after Thanksgiving to start it. Usually between 12am and 5am. OKCretro 11-22-2013, 09:15 AM thought they might start a little early this year just because of the weather OKCDrummer77 11-22-2013, 01:52 PM Checked on it during lunch, and they are playing Christmas music today. warreng88 11-22-2013, 02:15 PM They were playing it last night on my way home from work. A week before Thanksgiving... Mel 11-22-2013, 02:29 PM Now all we need is the B.C. Clark Anniversary jingle and Egg Nog at Braum's and we have the three signs of Christmas. bchris02 11-22-2013, 10:06 PM They were playing it last night on my way home from work. A week before Thanksgiving... It wouldn't surprise me if they flipped early because of the winter storm. They were probably getting a lot of requests for it. RadicalModerate 11-22-2013, 11:50 PM Yo: It ain't Christmas unless you heard "Marshmallow World" at least a dozen times. (it's, like, Magical. Especially the Dean Martin version involving GoldDiggers in a sleigh) MWCGuy 11-23-2013, 12:22 AM It appears it has already started. 104.1 KMGL | Magic 104.1 (http://socialstreamingplayer.crystalmedianetworks.com/radio/kmgl) Why not start early? Hearing the Christmas Music on KMGL has always put me in a good mood. 2013 has been a long drawn out year that needs to be forgotten on so many levels. bchris02 11-24-2013, 06:00 PM It appears it has already started. 104.1 KMGL | Magic 104.1 (http://socialstreamingplayer.crystalmedianetworks.com/radio/kmgl) Why not start early? Here's to hoping for a better 2014. kwhey 12-02-2013, 06:31 PM Don't they usually start the day after Thanksgiving? Actually, KXY and Magic flipped to at the exact same time 3 days before Thanksgiving last year. |
