I also saw that the Myriad Gardens plans to up it's game this season.


And I believe Devon is planning to do some special holiday effects with it's building LED's.

Alright, I've noticed that they already have a nice display up at Spring Creek Shopping Center (15th & Bryant), so I went and snapped a few pics. They aren't all that great, but at least this gets the ball rolling.

I've seen the Total Environment crews installing CHK's lights, so I assume it's a go again this year.

Only a partial go. I was told by someone in the know, that CHK mgmt. had scaled back the lights by about half. I was also told about 6 weeks ago, that the contract with Total Environment only covered putting up the lights, not taking them down. That would seem to indicate CHK will be seeking a new scaled back version of landscape maintenance come January 1. I'm not sure of that's the case today or not. The end result would be not near as many flowers as in the past, less lights, less overall beautification as a whole. I suppose time will tell......

Last year, Chesapeake greatly expanded the lights into NH Plaza, Classen Curve and areas well beyond their campus.

Wouldn't be surprised if they just focused on the campus itself, which is still plenty big.

When I drove by, I only saw lights on the trees near the streets and none on the interior trees like in years past. That may be part of it.
