Just found this forum. Grew up in MWC. Moved there in 1950 and stayed till our Uncle Sam called. After two tours in Nam I returned and found I couldn't cope too well with the noise, and turmoil that MWC had become. Seems the whole fabric of the town had changed from what I remembered and started looking for a way out. I soon found this small farm in Creek County and sort of became a modern homesteader, I guess. Bought raw ground and made a peaceful home here. Now have all the amenities found the city with none of the bad stuff. Went from living in a tent to a modest but comfortable home here in the woods. Anyhow, that's my story.

I look forward to the day when I'll get my cabin in the woods. I've got the land, just need to get the time (and $) to build it!Just be careful it isn't a sacrificial monument that is ran by the US government to prevent large demons from coming up and destroying the earth. lol
