Because I was down there yesterday and asked them repeatedly "so if I bought a season pass I can't be like VIP and bypass all the one timers?" and the specifically told me no. If that's not true then the girl and the guy working the booth need to be fired cause they obviously don't know what they're talking about.

Apparently since they're closed on Mondays, Tuesday tends to be one of their busier days. It may be slow during the other weekdays but Tuesday was planned for and the only day we could go.

My comments (and their posted policies) had nothing to do with cutting in line. My expectation would never be to be able to move to the front of the line simply because I had a season pass. I wait in line like everyone else - but, like i said, I've never seen a line when I go.

I also don't have any expectation as to how many times I may get to zipline (beyond did I buy a one time pass, all day pass, or all season pass). Its like going to White Water or Frontier City - on a busy day I probably won't get to do the popular rides more than a couple of times. On a slow day I can probably do it all day long repeatedly. Its not the parks fault - its just a busy day vs. a slow day.

I was there yesterday too. I tend to go before our class at the downtown Y at 6:30. There were people there, but I didn't wait in line for hardly anything.

I like to stop by before Y classes and warm up (some fun outdoor equipment by the Devon Boat House), then I climb the 3-4 sides of the rock wall and then make my way up the obstacle course and do the zipline.

Probably like the difference between Frontier City on a Tuesday night compared to a Saturday afternoon. To me it would be worth taking a day off work to take the kids during the week to avoid the hour long wait times (but that's just me).

Smiling at the many memories. I did that when ours were young. Occasionally the whole family. And many times I used up some of the leave balance by taking just one of our three and we had a day for just the two of us. Going on a weekday meant kiddo de jour could really wear me out. There are no shortcuts from the end of roaring rapids back to its entrance, and on a mid week day there were simply no lines at all. Thank goodness each of my kiddos also liked the magic and western shows and the old cars, so I could occasionally cool off and rest my feet a bit. Fun times though.

Yep, we were there from 2PM to about 5:30pm.

Most places that have a VIP line it's an express line. Not cutting.

Either way. It was busy for the 3 1/2 hours I was there. No big deal though. Ended up spending most the time watching my nephew and niece play. It was a good time, regardless.

I spent a few hours there this weekend with a 5 year old and a 2yo. We didn't do any of the grown-up stuff but the crowd for the tower and the zipline was huge. At 3PM they had already sold out of zipline tickets for the remainder fo the day (until 7PM I think).

The kids' area is well-put together, and I cannot stress enough how much fun the kids had bounding, climbing and zip-lining. Like the most fun they've had this calender year, perhaps.

We checked in at 1:30 and got a zip line pass for the 6 pm slot. Was very busy. The zip line was fun, and a bit un-nerving taking that first step off the platform.

The second picture shows a lot of the East end boulevard connection being constructed. The bridge supports and connection to Eastbound I-40.

Think about how that 2nd pic will look in a few years with the left side littered with tower cranes!!!!
