I found a brief reference to this video in the main streetcar thread, but it deserves more attention.
Especially from folks like me who aren't as interested in all the insider political stuff.

Really gives a good feeling for how it will look to have the streetcar gliding through our urban core.

Thanks for posting! We worked hard to make sure that it represented the "final product" well. The animation will be revised and improved as more technical detail is derived from preliminary engineering.

Also have a suggestion -- if you're taking suggestions. Make a nighttime animation. :)

This will be an invaluable marketing piece on multiple fronts. Very good idea from the subcommittee..

Can't help but thinking that by the time this thing is up and running, the skyline will likely be more interesting....

Actually, if you want it to look like it will on the first day the street car is moving, I'd bet you'd need to photoshop some construction cranes in there and make the building look incomplete.
