is set to open soon as Billy Sims' BBQ. Wow, no BBQ place worth mentioning (Herby's doesn't count) for years and now two are opening up within a couple months of each other.

I know it's a BBQ place but I hope they have a regular hamburger or regular items (besides sides). The only regular options in town are that place on Sunset which is an Italian place but they also have some regular items. I don't care for that. And there is Montana Mike's which a former worker has told me their kitchen is filthy so I stay away from there and El Charro which is ok but I just want another option.

I was okay with the opening of Swadley's. We really needed something 'new' in El Reno. Now with Billy Simms, I hope it's not too soon after Swadley's. But best of luck and I will give 'em a try. Montana Mike's, when they're good, they're good, When they're not, they're not. Same can be said for El Charro. Serapio's is top of my list but pretty spendy for a dinner for two. I'm hoping that Hook n Slice can make it. It too can be spendy. I'm still waiting for the move of Braum's to the property at Country Club and I-40 in front of Wal-Mart. Then Chelinos (hopefully) will finally come in.

PPPPSSSSTTTTTTT..............The fried-onion burger places in town, Robert's, Johnnie's and Sid's, are crap. Don't tell anybody.

Can't wait for the new Braum's. Alas there is no progress on the new building. There hasn't been any new talk among employees at the present location either.

Crap might be a little harsh.... I've been to Johnnie's and Sid's and enjoyed both.... Then again it could just be because it's an occasional thing for me but an only choice for those living there..
