Who is the owner developer on this? Architect?

Is this still happening? Checked aerial imagery that was updated on the 25th of September and it shows the building has been demoed but nothing more.

Don't know what happened here.

They received all approvals then everything stalled for some reason.

Certainly strange, even with declining (crashing) oil prices, it's my understanding that hotel bookings are quite strong in OKC still?

Perhaps it was their funding mechanism pulled as caution to future over supply?

Talk about a major let-down.

Don't think the delays have anything to do with any sort of real or perceived economic softening, as they pulled this down a couple of years ago.

I suspect it is more to do with the owners/investors themselves.

The good news is that something better will go here eventually. What they torn down was pretty tired.

The old motel to the immediate west was torn down and removed in the past couple of weeks also.

That one was especially an eye sore, and won't be missed. With such a big plot of land available at a prime location, hopefully a developer swoops in and decides to build something there. That being said, something other than a motel would be ideal.
