Ughh..sad thing is we have a court system that rewards women for this, heck 45k a month from two baby daddy's for some time on your back. Can't say I blame her or the others.

Kids will be raised by a nanny for 2k a month and she will pocket the rest.

Better than hitting the jackpot.

More sad we still have people today that put the bulk of the blame on the woman. Last I knew, it took two to tango, and if Blake didn't want the risk, he should have taken steps to prevent it himself.

Come on. If these were some average run of the 38k guys I would give you that. But when it's millions of dollars in payment over next 18 year period then you are fooling yourself.

Besides let's be real..all the choices a woman has from birth control implants, rings, patches, pills, injections and she only manages to get pregnant from 2 multimillionaires in her 15 years of reproductive cycles.

If that's not child planning then I don't know what is.

Kayne said it best --- ain't saying she a gold digger, but she ain't messing with no broke ....

Jersey chasers are real, sadly.

I was in Atlanta for Thanksgiving last year. While we were out visiting family in the car, a commercial came on the radio for some club. They literally said, "Hey girls, we've got tons of NBA and NFL players comin' out, so come get you a baby daddy!" Not making this up.

It definitely takes two to tango though. Maybe Blake though babies still come from the stork.

If child support payments were limited to 20-30k per year all of these chasers would be gone.in a heartbeat.

When you step back and think.about its better.deal than marriage, no contracts or prenups to cut down the expenses.

I don't care since I will never be a multimillionaire, but the baby daddy culture needs yo go.away.

Doug could chime in on this subject as well, but this is false. Courts award women when men fail to show up and ask for their rights to be recognized. If men, right off the bat, ask for their rights to be recognized, state law gives a presumption of equal time (at least on a temporary basis, but that can go for months and is often the basis of any further settlement negotiations once the mother figures out that 50/50 has its advantages).

It's not hard. Pay a lawyer, assert your rights, you get visitation and maybe even custody if you can demonstrate whatever that particular judge looks for. Blake Griffin might even win custody if he asks for it. Other prominent NBA players have sole custody of their children. While it doesn't speak well for either Leinart or Griffin to have children out of wedlock, this isn't even the mother's first rodeo in that regard. Lots of judges would hold that against her.

If i read correctly in another article, it seems like they had been dating on and off since before he was drafted. Hardly a "jersey chaser".

I know people who were seriously broken up over this, wondering how good little OCS alumnus Blake Griffin could do such a thing.

Ahh ignorant people...

Even former OKC Hornet Chris Paul had two kids out of wedlock before he finally married his baby momma. Same thing for LeBron.

Now it appears from this article that Blake and his new Baby Mama are no longer together. But of course she'll get to enjoy his money for 18 more years!

When a women has a child out of wedlock she is called a slut. When a man has a child out of wedlock, he is generally known as a stud. Sorry, either way, a man is just as much of a slut as is the women. It does take two to tango. Men need to take personal responsibility and wrap it up just as the women needs too.

Unless he ends up with custody, he's going to take many thousands of dollars worth of personal responsibility.

This is not surprising. Blake had an affinity for hair dressers in college and probably has a few more kids we don't know about running around the south side.

Probably not much, considering Blake's mom had an affair and left her previous husband for her current husband (Blake's dad)
