It's hard to wrong with anything Sinatra.

But I go along with the late, great, Dick Clark, who once said on his New Year's Eve show that he thought the greatest love song of the rock 'n roll era was this one. Until he said that, I had never paid much attention to the lyrics, but it's truly an amazing song.

Even as a kid, Sinatra knew how to nail it. Thanks.
Still . . . This one-hit-wonder left an impression on me that I've never forgotten.
(and i ain't the "romantic" type . . . =)

My wife and I have always liked Gerry Rafferty song "Right Down The Line'. This cover by Bonnie Raitt is wonderful. Love is where you find it. For everyone. Bonnie Raitt - Right Down The Line (Official Music Video) - YouTube (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-T_aMNbXVdA)

Here's a pretty great little love song that my wife--a huge Bonnie Raitt fan--and I happened to catch on Sirrius Radio, listening to the "Outlaw Country" channel, in the rental car, on the next to the last leg of the long drive back from the yearly trip to her childhood home in Minnesota, a couple-three years ago.

We both laughed. Maybe not as good as "Me and Bobby McGee" . . . But it was good.
