I'm currently asking around to see if anyone has a favorite signature drink that's specifically made at a local bar. An example would be Edna's Lunch Box (which is a personal favorite of mine).

Thanks!

Two places that have opened recently serve up some good drinks. I had some great albeit expensive drinks at Tamazul. I had two different margaritas of theirs that were very good, but with one of them being $20, it better be. The other margarita was made with muddled jalapenos.

The other place was Hillbillies on 9th. They have several cocktails made from moonshine. One was a margarita type drink with a jalapeno syrup in it. It was good but holy hell dont go with chapped lips. The jalapeno syrup burned on contact, weird thing was that it wasnt that spicy once it was passed your lips. I forget the other cocktail but it was better, sorry Im forgetting names.

The Mule makes a solid Moscow Mule and then has another mule drink but instead of vodka its with whiskey.

I'll second the drinks at Tamazul, pricey but made well

Whiskey Cake has some great craft cocktails made with very fresh ingredients. So does WSKY.

Love the caipirinha at Cafe do Brasil.

If you like crisp, refreshing drinks, ask for an Intro to Aperol at Ludivine. Other lovely cocktails there are the Dandy Smash and the Hornet's nest. Looks like the menu has changed recently, but I'm sure the bartenders will accommodate. Saints makes a classic, well-done Moscow Mule in the proper copper mug.
