There was no broken taillight . . . nor any shards embedded in a police baton. I made that stuff up earlier in this thread.

Anyways . . .The reason they had a copy of The Constitution on the bus (their mobile "crib") was because they were trying to find rhymes for words such as apportionment, attainder, pro tempore, concurrence, emolument and ordain so's they could work them into a neo-ethnic, urban "chant" . . .

Secret Documents (seized illegally by local law enforcement) reveal that they got this far:
apportionment . . . yo ass fo rent
attainder . . . i maimed her
pro tempore . . . so dem hos say
concurrence . . . non evidence
emolument . . . (k-y from) de govi'mint
ordain . . . cocaine

From a KOCO report today on an alleged assault on a tour bus in OKC:
In a completely unrelated incident, Rapper 2Chainz was in Oklahoma City on Aug. 21. Following his concert, his tour bus was stopped by Oklahoma City police who later said the stop was prompted by a broken tail light. Officers said when the driver of the bus opened the door, there was an "overwhelming odor of marijuana.

I still love that a self made millionaire small business owner: who was a salutatorian in highschool , 4.0 gpa presidents honor student in college, and a high performing d1 student athlete was detained for 9 hours and then arrested over a burnt out taillight and being around a person who was smoking a plant that has been decriminalized by the federal government and is now legally sold in neighboring states.

Sure we arent the radical mulsim states we all swear to hate? Next thing you know we'll be telling women how to dress and what to do with their bodies.

We sure are the Christian version of a radical Muslim state. It is quite well powerfully reflected in how Oklahoma is one of the most highly imprisoned places on earth. Speaking of women, no other state imprisons women at a higher rate than Oklahoma. But Republicans at the State Capitol are far, far, too cowardly about doing something about remedying all this gross maljustice out of fear they'll get voted out of office. It's too pitifully bad how Oklahomans fear Sharia law in Oklahoma far more than the excesses against human justice practiced by it own government.

I don't see any justice in arresting everyone in the tour bus, since the driver was apparently driving safe and sober. Only a warning ticket about the taillight needed to be issued. All that officer time let the real criminals off the hook, like drunks on the road.

Painkillers, Guns Found On 2 Chainz Tour Bus During Stop In OKC

Painkillers, Guns Found On 2 Chainz Tour Bus During Stop In OKC - News9.com - Oklahoma City, OK - News, Weather, Video and Sports | (http://www.news9.com/story/23328122/painkillers-guns-found-on-2-chainz-tour-bus-during-stop-in-okc)

OKLAHOMA CITY -
Newly-released court documents reveal Oklahoma City investigators discovered several weapons, painkillers, drug residue, and drug paraphernalia when they searched rapper 2 Chainz's tour bus following a nine-hour showdown with police.

Just before midnight on August 21, police spotted a defective taillight on the bus as it traveled westbound on Interstate 40. Officers stopped the bus near Meridian. Police say when the driver, 31-year-old Sedric Brooks, exited the bus he immediately locked the doors behind him.

According to an affidavit for a search warrant, officers say they smelled a strong odor of marijuana coming from the bus. When they asked Brooks to open the doors, he refused. The occupants on board the bus also refused to open the doors, and insisted police obtain a search warrant before boarding the vehicle.

About 5:30 a.m., police had the bus towed to police training facility, with everyone still on board. Officers obtained a warrant a few hours later and searched the bus. They found marijuana residue, smoking pipes, rolling papers, and scales. They also discovered the prescription pills Hydrocodone and Flexeril. No one on the bus had prescriptions for those painkillers.

Police also found two semi-automatic pistols and a 12-gauge shotgun on the bus, along with ammunition for the weapons.

Police arrested everyone on the bus, including rapper 2 Chainz, whose real name is Tauheed Epps. Epps had just performed at a concert in Chesapeake Energy Arena with rappers Lil Wayne and T.I.

Epps and 10 others were released on bond that same day.

Pot residue and pills....I would bet money that our posters have those same pills in their medicine cabinets.

Besides the pills are a quick fix with an old script, not like they were driving. Heck, you could stop 85 percent of Edmond residents and charge them with that.

Exactly. Hilarious that the only illegal drugs they could find was some pot "residue."

And what were they charged with? If I got pulled over, and the cops smelled marijuana, they would ask to search my car. And if I barricaded myself in, and refused them, then I'd probably be charged with obstruction as well. Especially if they found illegal prescription drugs, drug residue, and weapons (with ammunition). It'll be interesting to find out if they c/c permits for those weapons.

Uhhh. Its completely legal to have have as many guns and ammo's as you want, I could legally go to the gun show this weekend and buy 1000 rounds and 20 shotguns, and 15 handguns to prove how american i was. All without a CC.

Now can you conceal and carry that weapon in public, no. But its completely legal to transport it in a vehicle.

Who said the pills were illegal? They just said that they didnt have the script on them, do you carry yours around with you?

As the story says, they werent charged with having weapons or any of that other stuff, they were charged with obstruction of justice. If they had them on weapons charges and real drug charges they all would still be sitting in jail.

One thing I will never get about some people is - if you dont like someone (insert your reason) then he same laws and freedoms i enjoy do not extend to you. This is like the teaparty crying about their rights being violated by the IRS profiling (which turned out not to be true), while proudly supporting other government agencies profiling muslims, middle easterns, hispanics, blacks, and just about every other group under the sun for anything and everything. But when its them its instant victim cry fest about how unfair the world has become.

No, you cannot, unless the guns are unloaded, and locked away inaccessible (such as the trunk).

They just said that they didnt have the script on them, do you carry yours around with you?

Umm.... yeah. IT's nice and convenient. Has my name and everything on the bottle. Real simple, especially if you're transporting a controlled substance, and you "get pulled over and searched once a week".

Again, they were arrested for barricading themselves in the bus. I notice how you keep forgetting that. We haven't seen what the final/further charges will be, if any.

2 Chainz is also a convicted felon, and is currently under other felony charges which are pending. He's also gotten in trouble for weapons before (carrying brass knuckles - illegal to own - into an airport - doubly illegal). I imagine there are some problems especially if it turns out the guns were his.

I notice how you keep dancing on the periphery, and avoiding the main issues. You seem very personally invested in painting a convicted felon, with multiple outstanding felony charges in place, with multiple drug arrests and controlled substance arrests, and illegal weapon arrests, as a boy scout. So what's your motive here?

Pennsylvania v. Mimms - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pennsylvania_v._Mimms)

The fact is that even as a white man, if I get pulled over by a policeman and he smells drugs or whatever.. I can refuse the search, but he'll still arrest me. Just like I can refuse a breathalyzer or a DUI check if the officer smells alcohol on my breath. I can refuse, and I'll be arrested. That's not a race issue.

But one difference, I'm not a convicted felon with guns and drugs in my possession.

WilliamTell
09-03-2013, 09:20 PM
The Pennsylvania Supreme Court saw no problem in the actions that involved pulling the car over, and were even to go as far as to say that due to the observation of the bulge under the respondent’s coat, the search was permissible. However the fact that the officer asked the defendant to exit the vehicle created a forbidden “seizure.” The officer was not able to identify the bulge in order to be suspect any criminal activity afoot if the suspect remained in the vehicle. Because that the gun was discovered by the unconstitutional action, the revolver should have been suppressed

jerrywall
09-03-2013, 09:26 PM
And then the Supreme Court overruled Pennsylvania's Supreme Court, and upheld the firearms conviction.

The point is is that you use it to call 2Chainz a thug yet you probably wouldn't dare call Switzer that. I suspect it comes from the fact that you don't like the way 2 Chainz looks or the sound of his music. Much like people calling Trayvon Martin a thug yet ignoring Zimmerman's domestic disputes, DUI and other run ins with the law.

Rapper 2 Chainz pays $771 to end misdemeanor case over 2013 arrest | NewsOK.com (http://m.newsok.com/rapper-2-chainz-pays-771-to-end-misdemeanor-case-over-2013-arrest/article/5391447)

His arrest in Oklahoma City after a 2013 traffic stop resulted in more national notoriety for rapper 2 Chainz, who later apologized on MTV and vowed to go “cold turkey on all criminal activities.”
The rapper — whose real name is Tauheed Epps — pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor, obstructing a police officer in the performance of his official duties. He paid a fine, a victims’ compensation assessment and other costs totaling $771, records show.
No one was charged with marijuana possession even though police reported finding marijuana residue during the bus search.

“In the end, we didn’t find much of it,” a prosecutor said in December 2013. “What we did find wasn’t in any location where we could show knowledge on anyone’s part.”

And what "laws" would that be?

He {2Chainz}--- pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor, obstructing a police officer in the performance of his official duties. He paid a fine, a victims’ compensation assessment and other costs totaling $771, records show.

Under the agreement, Epps also agreed to give up any right to the two pistols, shotgun and ammunition seized by police during a search of the bus. His attorney said the weapons were not his, anyway.

The bus driver, Sedric Arozell Brooks, 33, and passenger, Abdullah Qawi Mujahid, 53, will get the same deal once they return to Oklahoma, the attorney said. Both are from Georgia.

The bodyguard, Rory Dorell Smith, 45, pleaded guilty in August to the felony, admitting he had painkillers in his luggage on the bus without a valid prescription. Under a plea agreement, he was put on unsupervised probation for eight years. He also is from Georgia.

And please tell me again what laws did the bus have on their side?
