I used google earth to find all the ones OKC area has to offer so now I am hoping some people on this forum will have opinions, information, and especially experience with any or all the mobile home parks. First and foremost, I am shocked to hear 300+ may be the average lot rent without even including any utilities for that price.

You would probably be better off finding land somewhere on outskirts of the city. Most of the mobile home parks I know of are crime havens.

I would definitely drive-by several on weekdays and weekends day/night to get a feel for your neighbors. Are there lots of loiterers, derelict vehicles and unkept lots?
Most of the time you can take your list of park names and google them with "review" after the name and read what others have to say. Might also give an online crime tracker a go with the park's address area.
Like was previously said, the payment on your own land can often be less than the payment on a temporary and crime ridden lot in a park. Be nice to find piece of land that previously had a trailer so that the utilities would be mostly in place. Good luck.

If you see these guys anywhere on the premises, drive away as quickly as possible.

They need a Myrtle Manor in OKC.

I can't see payign $300/mo in lot rent PLUS a payment on a mobile home. You're better off getting a renthouse.

Or buying an acreage, putting down roots, and starting your OWN mobile home park as you subdivide and develop!
(a tip: steer clear of the mobile home park in Crutcho. it's trashy and it floods)
(oh! the ones down on SE 29 near The Frog Pond also leave a lot to be desired)
