I know this topic has been posted before; however, I wanted to give everyone an update on the new improved features to see if there was any interest in moving forward.

I am considering giving members a FREE OKCTalk.com web based email account just like Yahoo, Hotmail and Gmail. The system is integrated with the site. This means you login once to access the board and the email system. Once you create an OKCTalk account your email account is automatically created in real-time.

The features are listed below. I am interested in hearing your comments. Emails accounts are a dime a dozen so I don't want to commit resources if it won’t be used.

FEATURES

• 5 MB - 250 MB Storage space depending on member account.

• WAP Integration (ability to forward your email to cell phone)

• Latest forum topics scroll within email system main page.

• Save your attached files into MyDocuments folder

• Share MyDocuments and any folder to any OKCTalk member account

• Improved calendar to organize your event and to-do lists

• Free MailGuard

• Define MailGuard white-list (avoid MailGuard verification)

• Vacation Reply

• Sophisticated E-Mail Editor

• Filters and E-Mail Notifications

• Check all your other External POP Mail

• Nightly server backups to secure data

• Spell Checker

• Select multiple external mail to be downloaded simultaneously

• Option to play sound when new mail arrives

• Request read receipt

• Tracking of read receipt for saved outgoing mail

• Define the Display Name to be tagged to outgoing mails

• Blind-carbon-copy (Bcc) support

I like the improvements. OKC Talk is the only personal email I can access from Dell, so I use it quite a bit. Plus, it is my private email that I do not release to anyone except certain people. So, the more improvements, the better.

It would be a good way for our members to help advertise OKC Talk, since it puts a sig at the bottom advertising our site.

I'd be happy to use it, and to give visitors to my blog an opportunity to email me.
