The buildings on the SE Corner of NW 23rd and Penn have been torn down in the last few days and a construction fence has gone up around the property. I've lived in the neighborhood since 1993 and the buildings have been vacant almost the whole time. Any ideas what's going in? A new mini-On Cue? a Starbacks to challenge the McCafe across the street? A new pawn shop? Strip mall? Will there be parking in front or in back? Will this be a nice addition to the area or another step in the Northwest Expressification of NW 23rd? Inquiring minds want to know!

There is also a Billy Simms going in the strip mall near that intersection (south side of street), think it is the old Blockbuster space??

Not sure what that means or how it is a bad thing.

As fine an example of branding counting for more than it should as ever existed.

So this Raising Canes should be held to the same standard as McD's...
