OKC has been killing it on the concerts as of late. Kudos to the CHK Arena staff for their success in securing shows.

If we can get a decent mid sized venue (I'm looking at you Tower Theatre!) We'd be in business as far as music is concerned.

good to see pearl jam coming to town. there's going to be plenty of detractors saying they're washed up old grungers that don't deserve to play chesapeake arena, but they are a dynamic live band that mixes up their setlists every show.

Agreed adaniel. Here are the upcoming CHK concert dates:

7/23 - Rock for Oklahoma (Kings of Leon, Flaming Lips, Jackson Browne and Built to Spill)
8/3 - MercyMe
8/10 - Bruno Mars with Ellie Goulding
8/21 - Lil Wayne with TI and Future
10/19 - Keith Urban with Little Big Town and Dustin Lynch
11/12 - Rihanna
11/16 - Pearl Jam

Oh and don't forget the 41 games between November and April, not to mention the 10 or so homes games for playoffs each year for one of the best teams in the NBA.

I've been out of town the last 2 times they were here. No way I am missing them this time!
