Kevin, ... Next hankerin' I get, we'll try the CFS at the Charlstons up by us. Actually, we are about equal distances between the one on Broadway in Edmond and the one on Memorial. Maybe we'll try both... I'll let you all know how it is.

The CFS on their Google page looks mighty tasty. Never been there, so will have to put them in the loop as well. Thanks!

Y'all got me hungry again. And, after dark in small town Oklahoma, I guess it's a PBJ sandwich.

Lived here all my life. At one point del rancho had the best served on a platter or sandwich. Nancy's had its time, and so did chuck house. Cattleman's serves a home style steak done on a flat top not unlike my granny's cast iron recipe. Charlestons is very decent for a consistent chain all around the metro. Beverly's 24hr diner still makes a passable handmade steak, the only diner I'm aware of that doesnt use a frozen substitute. But the heavyweight champion is cheevers. Has been for years. Jalapeno gravy on 1 steak for lunch, 2 for dinner, over redskin mash. Killer. And now I'm hungry....
