View Full Version : Paramount Building
Laramie 04-20-2019, 04:15 PM All the new breweries throughout our city reminds me of club closing time in my younger days; 'drink up folks, the more you drink, the better I look.'
Thank God, alcohol and myself have parted ways. You young folks out there, drink and eat in moderation--you have a long life ahead of you--fulfill those dreams.
Progress on adding the stairwell to the west side of the building.
OK Cider brewery is still under construction in the neighboring metal building.

king183 12-11-2019, 12:02 PM I went here for movie trivia a few weeks ago. I didn't realize they had a full bar upstairs. It's a pretty nice, relaxing bar and the bartenders are really nice guys. If you haven't been, go check it out.

I've heard the same. Gotta be a tough time for anybody in the special events industry.
fromdust 09-07-2020, 01:07 PM Don't think I can say who yet since the ink hasn't dried on the dotted line, but it's being taken over with new owners. New name, and a bit of an update as well.
TheTravellers 04-07-2021, 09:40 AM Got an email from Rodeo Cinema saying that they're opening a new screen there.

Yes, they are going to start shows in the historic screening room on the ground floor.
It's really cool space; they are going to upgrade the projection system.
Will make for a great experience, especially with the 2 breweries in that building along with the wine bar. Plenty more within walking distance (Joey's, Bar Arbolada, Jones, Flashback, etc.).

Bowser214 04-07-2021, 11:36 AM That's so cool! Maybe someone could do a mural of Oklahoma actors past and present. I miss Steven Adams but......

Amen to that, Dan.

Yeah, no. As much as I love parking directly under his intense glare every day, I think it's time for us to move on...

It's still a movie theater, but rodeo is trying different things to get people in.

Makes sense. I am happy to see a variety of events happening there, feel it’s always been a good location/room that just needs the ownership to match.
