I just noticed this morning that it is showing exactly 50 percent of the actual humidity and it was almost that yesterday, so I do think there is something I am missing. Im going to dig out the instructions and if I don't find something, I am going to call the manufacturer. As for your comment about "setting the digital stuff", I have lots of options, centigrade/fahrenheit, two choices in the barometric pressure, and there are choices with the humidity but I just have to figure it out.

I don't think there is a way to set the digital stuff, the sensor is probably inaccurate. More common than most people think, although 30%+ off is a bit much.
