I recently spoke to an architect friend of mine about the Central Park development and she mentioned she knew architects, including some at OU, are currently designing the second Skydance bridge to go over I-40, which, she says, will be larger than the pedestrian bridge and will allow for car transport.
Did I miss an announcement about a second bridge or is this something completely new/wrong?

Are you sure that they didn't mean a pedestrian bridge over the Oklahoma River along the same Harvey Spine? That would make more sense to me.
If there were to be a second bridge over I-40, where on earth would it be?

Maybe that's what she meant, but I'm not sure. I had just never heard such a project was in the making in the first place.

You should get in contact with her again and verify such thoughts to see if it is true.
I've always thought that a mate pedestrian bridge over the river would compliment the future Lower Park and Core to Shore area and the Wiley Post Park. Let's hope this is true.
